Holidays!

Wow!  The holidays are here already!

I have been so crazy busy!  To be honest I haven't taken a picture with my camera since we got back from Vegas!

Today, I am trying to coast through the workday.  I will be on vacation next week!  I am not sure what I am going to do with my time off, but my husband is off too!  I am sure we will find something fun to do!  He mentioned sledding!  I hate winter activities, but sledding sounds fun!

Fireplace

So, we have a fireplace.  We never use it because the first time we did I am pretty sure the flue was open, but we still got smoked out of our house.

This is one of the only spots in our house for me to take pictures at the moment!  We are starting a remodeling project in the basement and had to move everything upstairs!

Vegas Baby!

I was in Vegas over the weekend and we had a blast!  My husband and I haven't been there since our honeymoon 2 years ago.  This trip was much better because my husband didn't have a broken leg and he didn't have to use a knee cart to get around!  Yep, you read that right!  My husband broke his leg at his bachelor party 3 weeks before we got married!  I don't even want to talk about it!  :)

Here is the outfit I wore our first night there!  I love the pewter Sven's clogs!

Winter Skin!

I don't know about you all, but my skin gets so dry in the winter!  I am always at a loss for what to do!  This year I decided to take a stand against the dry!  I really didn't know how to get started, but I was at the mall this weekend and saw the Sephora store.  I thought "I know they have a lot of products in one place.  I should check it out".  I must admit that I do not enjoy that the employees pounce on you once you walk in the door, but I was prepared.  I flat out asked for help with moisturizers.  They said that I need to talk with Lilly.  They called her over and she was FANTASTIC!  I explained my issue and my skin type and said that I wanted samples before I purchased.  She was so happy to help and explained the purpose for every product.  With samples in hand I went home and have been using everything she recommended and have been having great results!

Of course, her suggestions were based on my skin type, but I would recommend that anyone with dry skin issues stop into their local Sephora and see that they have to say!

I have a few minutes to do a post!  It's unbelievable!

Here is an outfit that I love to wear in the winter.  I am finding that when it gets cold I am all about comfort!

I am so sorry that I haven't been around!  To Tell you the truth, I have been having a hard time figuring out how and where to take pictures now that it's dark at 6 pm!
